Bob & Doug McKenzie's Two-Four Anniversary (2007)

In 1980, the SCTV crew had a request from their broadcaster, the CBC, for distinctively Canadian content. What players Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas created was a satire of it, but Bob and Doug became so much more. This documentary tells the special tale of how the McKenzie Brothers became a sensation that would become a cherished part of Canada's self identity.

Jim Gaffigan - Food A Love Story (2014)

“What are my qualifications to write this book? None really. So why should you read it? Here’s why: I’m a little fat. If a thin guy were to write about a love of food and eating I’d highly recommend that you do not read his book.”
Bacon. McDonalds. Cinnabon. Hot Pockets. Kale. Stand-up comedian and author Jim Gaffigan has made his career rhapsodizing over the most treasured dishes of the American diet (“choking on bacon is like getting murdered by your lover”) and decrying the worst offenders (“kale is the early morning of foods”). Fans flocked to his New York Times bestselling book Dad is Fat to hear him riff on fatherhood but now, in his second book, he will give them what they really crave—hundreds of pages of his thoughts on all things culinary(ish). Insights such as: why he believes coconut water was invented to get people to stop drinking coconut water, why pretzel bread is #3 on his most important inventions of humankind (behind the wheel and the computer), and the answer to the age-old question “which animal is more delicious: the pig, the cow, or the bacon cheeseburger?”

Mark-Schultz - Foxcatcher (2014)

The riveting true story of Olympic wrestling gold medal-winning brothers Mark Schultz and Dave Schultz and their fatal relationship with the eccentric John du Pont, heir to the du Pont dynasty.

On January 26, 1996, Dave Schultz, Olympic gold medal winner and wrestling golden boy, was shot three times by du Pont family heir John E. du Pont at the famed Foxcatcher Farms estate in Pennsylvania. Following the murder there was a tense standoff when du Pont barricaded himself in his home for two days before he was finally captured.

Foxcatcher is gold medal winner Mark Schultz’s memoir, revealing what made him and his brother champion and what brought them to Foxcatcher Farms. It’s a vivid portrait of the complex relationship he and his brother had with du Pont, a man whose catastrophic break from reality led to tragedy. No one knows the inside story of what went on behind the scenes at Foxcatcher Farms—and inside John du Pont’s head—better than Mark Schultz.

Jack Dunning - Digging Deeper into AutoHotkey (2013)

Jack Dunning's goal in this book is to help the novice and intermediate script writer grow more familiar with AutoHotkey and its power through demonstrating real-world applications. The more someone understands the nuances of a scripting language, the easier it is to write simple applications. While the AutoHotkey Command listings on the Web technically give you everything that you need to write a script, the commands don't always work the way you may expect. Jack has tested everything in this book and explains how each scripts actually works (plus he highlights his mistakes with those commands).

While the most used AutoHotkey commands and techniques are included in this book, it is not a regurgitation of the list of AutoHotkey Commands. Everything is aimed at getting results, although the book is indexed by chapter for quicker reference. There are numerous graphic images included to highlight the scripts.

Each chapter in this book builds on the previous chapters and the book "A Beginner's Guide to AutoHotkey". Therefore, if you're brand new to script writing and AutoHotkey, it may be useful to start with the "Beginner's Guide," then dig into the first chapter of this and work your way through the process. If you're experienced with other languages, then jumping around for ideas may suit you. Since this is not specifically a reference book, Jack indexed the chapters making it easier to find specific AutoHotkey commands and techniques.
