The Usual Suspects (1995) DVDRip

Roger "Verbal" Kint is the only survivor of a bombing and shootout that left 27 people dead. While his lawyer fights for his speedy release from police custody, Kint begrudgingly reveals the events leading up to the previous night's explosion to Customs Agent Dave Kujan. Meanwhile, in a hospital not far away, it is revealed that a Hungarian dealer survived the blast, though unfortunately he only speaks Hungarian and isn't in much shape to be divulging his story. Kujan is determined to get the truth, no matter what it takes -- particularly the truth about Dean Keaton, one of Kint's fellow "suspects" and the target of his longtime vendetta.

Eventually, the crux of Kint's story begins to center around the presence of a criminal mastermind named Keyser Soze. Kujan at first doubts the existence of the "bogeyman of the criminal underworld", but as Kint continues his story, Kujan eventually realizes just how deep this particular rabbit hole goes.

Motley Crue - The Dirt (2001)

The most influential, enduring, and iconic metal band of the 1980's reveals everything a tell-all of epic proportions. This unbelievable autobiography explores the rebellious lives of four of the most influential icons in American rock history.

Motley Crue was the voice of a barely pubescent Generation X, the anointed high priests of backward-masking pentagram rock, pioneers of Hollywood glam, and the creators of MTV's first "power ballad." Their sex lives claimed celebrities from Heather Locklear to Pamela Anderson to Donna D'Errico. Their scuffles involved everyone from Axl Rose to 2LiveCrew. Their hobbies have included collecting automatic weapons, cultivating long arrest records, pushing the envelope of conceivable drug abuse, and dreaming up backstage antics that would make Ozzy Osbourne blanch with modesty. No heavy metal fan will want to be without this crude, honest chronicle.

Harvard Lampoon - Bored of the Rings (2013)

Sometimes childish, sometimes rude, always clever and always very, very funny, this book has delighted most, and outraged a few Tolkien fans in the US for more than 40 years. Pulling in references to popular culture and fantasy literature as a whole, this is a killingly effective parody of The Lord of the Rings. From the dreary Goddamn (Gollum) to the feckless Arrowroot (Aragorn), the bungling Goodgulf (Gandalf) to the timid, mean-minded boggies Frito (Frodo) and Dildo (Bilbo), no character is safe. Fleeing the Nozdrul, bored by acid-casualty Tim Benzedrine and harassed throughout by the minions of Sorhed, the fellowship move through a Middle Earth like no other. Short, sharp and very much to the point, even Tolkien would be hard-pressed to suppress a giggle at Bored of the Rings.

National Lampoon Magazine (1971-1975)

National Lampoon was an American humor magazine which ran from 1970 to 1998. The magazine started out as a spinoff from the Harvard Lampoon. National Lampoon magazine reached its height of popularity and critical acclaim during the late 1970s, when it had a far-reaching effect on American humor and comedy. The magazine spawned films, radio, live theatre, various sound recordings, and print products including books. Many members of the creative staff from the magazine subsequently went on to contribute creatively to successful media of all types.

During the magazine's most successful years, parody of every kind was a mainstay; surrealist content was also central to its appeal. Almost all the issues included long text pieces, shorter written pieces, a section of actual news items (dubbed "True Facts"), cartoons and comic strips. The result was an unusual mix of intelligent, cutting-edge wit, combined with some crass, bawdy jesting. National Lampoon's humor often pushed far beyond the boundaries of what was generally considered appropriate and acceptable. Some consider its finest period was from 1971 to 1975.
