Heckler (2007) DVDRip

Nearly anyone who performs in public on a regular basis is familiar with the notion of the audience member who makes their opinions loudly and clearly known during the show, and like most comedians Jamie Kennedy has dealt with his fair share of hecklers over the course of his career. However, when Kennedy moved from stand-up comic to actor, he encountered a new breed of heckler -- the on-line film critic who posts angry rants on the internet, taking Kennedy to task for nearly every aspect of such critically drubbed movies as Son Of The Mask and Malibu's Most Wanted. Kennedy teamed up with director Michael Addis to make the documentary Heckler, which explores the increasingly combative relationship between artists and their audience. Heckler features interviews with a number of comics and musicians discussing their experiences with loud-mouthed spectators (including Bill Maher, David Cross, Louie Anderson, Rob Zombie, Joe Rogan and David Allen Grier), but Kennedy goes a step further, confronting a number of the writers who've bad-mouthed his work and questioning their role in the creative process. Kennedy and Addis also talk with filmmaker Uwe Boll, who went so far as to challenge his critics to a boxing match.

Edgar Mitchell - The Way of the Explorer (2008)

In February 1971, as Apollo 14 astroanaut Edgar Mitchell hurtled Earthward through space, he was engulfed by a profound sense of universal connectedness. He intuitively sensed that his presence and that of the planet in the window were all part of a deliberate, universal process and that the glittering cosmos itself was in some way conscious. The experience was so overwhelming, Mitchell knew his life would never be the same.

The Unfunnies (2004-2007)

A world resembling classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons is becoming increasingly messed up as characters discover sex, swearing and murder. Little do they know that it's the work of the creator of their world, Troy Hicks, a child molester/killer who used occult magic to switch places with one of his cartoon characters in order to escape from death row.

The mini-series was considered so offensive that it was cancelled before it could be completed. It was originally intended to be four issues but only two were published. More than 3 years later the last two issues were published.

Ty Templeton - Bigg Time A Farcical Fable of Fleeting Fame (2002)

Lester Biggs wants to become famous before turning 30, but the odds are not in his favor. He is shallow, narcissistic and not too bright. His 30th birthday is only four weeks away, and he's homeless, having lost his acting career, his agent and his fiancee all on the same day several years back. Luckily for him, a close encounter with a third rail enables him to see and communicate with a guardian angel, Stavros. Unluckily for him, Stavros has been actively sabotaging Lester's life for kicks. (Stavros, pictured as part buzzing insect, part paunchy, middle-aged man, has been a guardian angel about a thousand years too long to get attached to every "breather" he's responsible for helping.) Lester devises a plan to blackmail Stavros into helping him become famous, and a partnership is born.
