Most murders are straightforward domestic affairs committed in a moment of hate, rage or jealousy and probably regretted ever after. But for one very callous type of person that first murder seems only to create a desire to kill again… and again. Leading criminologist and broadcaster Martin Fido traces the history of serial killers from Victorian London’s Jack The Ripper to modern day monsters such as Jeffrey Dahmer and Denis Nilsen. It is a story that will both fascinate and terrify.
