Peter Bagge - Neat Stuff (1985-1989)

Neat Stuff featured the models of the dysfunctional American family, the Bradleys. In the eighties, Bagge chronicled the adventures of this family along with tales of other characters such as The Goon on the Moon, Studs Kirby, Junior, Girly-Girl, and Chuckie Boy.

Fans of underground comics will love Bagge’s hard-edged, bitterly truthful observations on everything from the dumbing down of America due to cable television to the cruel tricks kids play on each other for a laugh. Bagge’s unique black and white art and intelligent insight into social interaction once again prove that comics have the power to make us laugh while at the same time forcing us to look closer at ourselves.
