This crossover one-shot is pure fun. It begins when Vooper, a lovably greedy scavenger, began pawing through the artifacts of Ylum, Nexus’ homeworld. Along with an ancient Madman action figure, he uncovered a little robot he called M.A.V.I.S. Then he made the mistake of activating M.A.V.I.S., and things started getting weird.
The robot turned from play toy into a colossus, terrifying the residents of Ylum and sending Nexus running to the rescue. But Nexus’ great powers were no match for the robot, so Nexus and his friends decided to seek out more information on the strange mech-monster. After learning that a Madman doll had been found next to it, they used black magic to summon Madman himself to aid their cause. What follows is a charmingly offbeat chase as the two try to discover the robot’s real motive-and what it all has to do with amusement parks, Elvis, and the King of Pop.
