The story of Martin Atchison, a British skinhead in the 70s who was deformed by his mother's use of the drug Thalidomide (trade name Kevadon) while pregnant. The drug, prior to FDA and international regulations, often led to deformations in babies of mothers who took the drug. Atchison is no wallflower in this story, however, and his lack of arms (his hands seem to come right out of his shoulders) and short stature to not prevent him from being part of a violent skinhead gang (and effective with the opposite sex).
